During my tenure as the Art Director for The MindSide, a small sports psychology practice in Birmingham, AL, I acted as the sole creative in charge of every visual aspect of the company. One of my larger achievements while working for The MindSide includes the design of the owner’s first self-published book, The MindSide Manifesto, which sells on Amazon and represents my first forray into publication design on this scale. I worked closely with the author and his editors to perfect his vision of the book and push it into production with Amazon’s online self-publishing platform. I also oversaw the design and development of a new company website, which I built in Wordpress and managed for the entirety of my time with the company. Eventually, this site included an e-commerce store for the sale of the owner’s book as well as other items used in the practice, a section of the website dedicated to the company podcast, and general information about the company and sports psychology in general.
