Hunter Crawford.
Thank you for your consideration of my work. I am pleased and honored to have spent as long as I have in the design industry and to have had the opportunity to learn and diversify my knowledge and capabilities by working in and with such an assorted variety of end-uses, industries, and client bases.
Before obtaining my degree in graphic design from Auburn University in 2013, I began building my technical skillset as a designer for the athletic department where I designed everything from email marketing graphics and retargeting ads to schedule posters and recruitment mailers. Upon entering the workforce, post-graduation, I spent 2 years as a print designer for a small southern-based printing company in Birmingham, AL where I learned all the ins and outs of prepress design and print collateral.
I then spent my next chapter as the art director and sole designer for a small sports psychology practice based out of Birmingham, AL where I was in charge of designing and maintaining all creative aspects of the company including the website, podcast management, publication design, videography, and all print collateral.
Most recently, I have been working as a senior designer at studio that specializes in architectural signage, interior and wayfinding signage, and experiential design.

My name is
Hunter Crawford.
I am privileged to have worked consistently in the design industry for more than a decade and to have had opportunities to learn and diversify my knowledge and capabilities by working in and around such an assorted variety of end-uses, industries, and client bases.
I'm a senior graphic designer with over 12 years of professional experience spanning a diverse range of disciplines — from print collateral, web design, social media, and videography earlier in my career to a deep specialization in architectural signage, wayfinding, and experiential design. That breadth informs my work at every level.
What sets me apart is a practical, fabrication-aware approach to design. Having worked both in a production sign shop environment and within a multidisciplinary architecture and design agency, I understand how design lives in the real world — and create accordingly. My project portfolio reflects that range, with contributions for clients including Coca-Cola, Humana, Live Nation, the Georgia Aquarium, Auburn University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and others across environments from retail spaces and parking structures to hospitals and major music venues.
Elegant simplicity is a mark of my design philosophy and a through line in my work.
On a personal level, I am also a craftsman who enjoys nothing more than spending hours in my wood shop designing and building custom picture frames and furniture for the home I share with my wife and dog. I play recreational ice hockey and am a die hard fan of my Auburn Tigers. My wife and I are big nerds for comic book movies, and we would both rather be reading our books together in a cabin or on a beach somewhere than doing most other things.
